We're seeking a UX Engineer to join our design team and bridge the gap between design and development. In this role, you’ll help refine and maintain our design system, optimize product usability, and ensure scalable, accessible, and performant user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Refine and scale our design system to ensure consistency across the platform
- Improve the design-to-development production process for better efficiency and accuracy
- Enhance navigation and information architecture to reduce user friction
- Identify and implement UX improvements in collaboration with the product team
- Ensure front-end performance and accessibility meet industry standards (WCAG, ARIA)
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver feasible, scalable solutions
- Build and test interactive prototypes using Figma and/or code
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to research and usability testing
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in both UX design and front-end development
- Proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
- Familiarity with Figma and design system documentation
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards and UI performance optimization
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with product and engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills and a user-first mindset
Bonus Points
- Experience with AI-driven tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Lovable)
- Familiarity with design tokens and system automation
- Experience with the MUI component library and Storybook
- Knowledge of animation and micro-interactions in UI design

Work Location
While this is a remote-friendly role, you're welcome to work from our Dublin office in the CHQ Building—just two minutes from Connolly Station and close to major transport links, shops, and cafes.
