We are seeking a creative and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team full time. In this role, you will focus on designing modern, intuitive user interfaces for our digital products. Your primary responsibility is to craft exceptional visual designs that enhance user experience & work with our development teams to support implementation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts.
- Develop and refine modern, user-centric interface designs based on project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends, technology and best practices in UI/UX design.
- Present and explain design concepts to team members and stakeholders.
Required Skills / Software
Eye for Design:
- Expertise in design software tools such as Figma or similar.
- Strong grasp of layout, typography, color theory, and composition to craft modern, appealing interfaces.
- Deep understanding of user experience principles, ensuring that designs are both functional and intuitive.
Collaboration Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve UI-related issues that arise during development.
Portfolio:
- A portfolio showcasing strong UI / UX skills.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with motion design tools (e.g., After Effects) to create engaging micro-interactions and animations.
- An understanding of WCAG and accessibility best practices to ensure designs are inclusive.
- Skills in presenting complex data in a clear and visually appealing way.
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator can be a plus for varied design tasks.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript can enhance collaboration with development teams - though coding isn’t part of the role.
