Position Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented UX Designer for a dual-focus role. The primary responsibility will be owning and evolving our Figma-based design system - maintaining components, documentation, and ensuring consistent implementation across products. Secondary focus involves UX design work on new and existing product features, including user research and prototyping. The ideal candidate excels at both systematic design thinking and creative problem-solving.

What You'll Do
- Continue to build, maintain, and evolve a robust, scalable design system in Figma, including components, styles/variables, and documentation.
- Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of the design system across products.
- Define design guidelines, accessibility standards, and best practices to create high-quality and inclusive experiences.
- Audit and update existing design assets to align with the design system’s standards.
- Provide training and support to team members on using the design system effectively.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals.
- Design intuitive and engaging user experiences, from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate designs based on feedback.
- Create user flows, journey maps, and interactive prototypes to communicate design solutions.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful handoff and implementation of designs.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years as a UX Designer, with significant experience in building and maintaining design systems in Figma.
- Strong work portfolio that demonstrates systematic and creative design thinking as well as a deep understanding of UI/UX best practices.
Technical Skills:
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including auto-layout, component creation, and libraries.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Experience with design tools like FigJam, Miro, or similar for collaboration.
UX Skills:
- Proven track record in user-centered design and creating data-driven design solutions.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Ability to produce wireframes, prototypes, and detailed interaction designs.
Collaboration:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, React) is a plus.
