The Role: Motion Designer
We’re looking for a creative and detail-driven Motion Designer with a strong design foundation and a passion for storytelling. In this role, you’ll collaborate with our brand, marketing, content, and product teams to bring Kraken’s identity to life through motion.
What You’ll Do
- Concept, design, and animate compelling motion assets that reflect Kraken’s brand
- Help define and evolve Kraken’s motion design language across products and campaigns
- Own projects end-to-end—from idea to final delivery
- Participate in reviews and provide/receive constructive feedback
- Push creative boundaries by exploring new motion tools and techniques
- Collaborate across teams to create cohesive brand and product experiences
What You Bring
- A strong portfolio with motion design, art direction, and storytelling
- Solid graphic design skills—layout, color, typography, composition
- Proficiency in After Effects, Adobe CC, and Figma
- Ability to think conceptually and execute with polish
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A self-starter mindset with curiosity for crypto and emerging tech
Bonus Points For
- Experience with Cinema 4D and 3D animation
- Hands-on experience with product demo shoots
- Knowledge of interactive motion tools like Rive or Lottie
- Sound design skills
