Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Brand Designer to join our dynamic team and bring Gemini’s visual identity to life through compelling marketing and product designs. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how Gemini is perceived by the world, crafting engaging and thoughtful creative assets across various platforms. From digital campaigns to in-person events, you’ll work collaboratively across teams to drive brand awareness and user acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Immerse yourself in the Gemini brand and mission, evolving and applying our visual identity across a variety of platforms.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality designs for both digital and physical formats.
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and product teams to create impactful content.
  • Produce and execute graphic, motion, and photographic content for marketing campaigns, social media, and email marketing.
  • Contribute to brand-building efforts and help design assets for product launches and ad campaigns.
  • Work with the Art Director and marketing team to create clear, simple messages from complex concepts.
  • Explore new design directions and push the quality of design forward.
  • Support the design of assets for the marketing website and social media channels.
  • Design email content, whitepapers, and print collateral.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in brand design or a similar role, with formal design training.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Google Suite.
  • Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms, with a strong understanding of design systems.
  • Ability to execute predefined design directions, with a deep knowledge of design fundamentals (e.g., typography, visual hierarchy, color theory).
  • Motion design skills are a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to relate design decisions to overall strategic goals.
  • Creative mindset and adaptability to changing needs.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative work ethic and a positive, easy-going attitude.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $137,000 - $192,000 (based on location in New York, California, or Washington; does not include discretionary bonus or equity).
