Join a mission-driven team that's improving the lives of millions of coffee farmers. Enveritas, a nonprofit backed by Y Combinator, is looking for a Product Designer to help shape the tools our global teams use to collect and analyze critical data. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates worldwide.
As part of the Data Collection Product Team, you’ll design internal software that supports large-scale, real-time data collection in coffee-growing regions. Your work will directly support sustainable farming practices and help drive long-term social, economic, and environmental impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design of data collection apps (Jebena, Point Dropper, Enveritas App) used by field teams around the world
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to create tools that improve efficiency, accuracy, and reliability
- Conduct user research, develop wireframes and prototypes, and guide projects from concept to production
- Improve the UX of existing features by identifying pain points and optimizing workflows
- Help define and maintain a consistent design system across all internal products

Ideal candidates will have:
- A strategic mindset and a knack for simplifying complex problems
- Solid UX and visual design skills for both web and mobile interfaces
- Experience with user-centered design processes, from research to delivery
- A systems-thinking approach and ability to design for scalability
- Great communication skills and openness to feedback
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Balsamiq, or Excalidraw
- Multiple years of professional experience in product design or UX
About the Team
The Engineering & Data Group at Enveritas is a diverse and tight-knit team of around 25 people spread across the globe. We come from various backgrounds—journalism, academia, international development—and value collaboration, flexibility, and thoughtful problem-solving.
Remote Work & Schedule
This is a full-time role open to applicants in any location supported by our global HR partner (Deel). Team members work flexibly but align around core hours: 10am–2pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
Compensation & Benefits
- US-based salary range: $130,000 – $150,000
- Full benefits (401k match, healthcare, FSA, generous time off)
