About the Product Designer, Mezo:
As a Product Designer at Mezo, you’ll be integral in shaping the future of Bitcoin. Your mission is to create user-friendly, meaningful, and visually appealing interfaces that empower users to access Bitcoin’s spending power, all while maintaining control of their assets. You will work on a product that enables individuals to benefit from Bitcoin without selling or losing ownership. This role requires curiosity and a deep understanding of blockchain technology, with a focus on creating intuitive user experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to develop design solutions that align with both business goals and user needs.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Oversee the entire visual design process from concept to final hand-off to engineering, ensuring a seamless implementation.
- Maintain and evolve Mezo’s design system to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure the quality of design implementation, providing support when needed.
- Conduct usability testing, both moderated and unmoderated, with user research partners.
- Use both quantitative and qualitative data from analytics and customer feedback to identify potential issues and inform design solutions.
- Participate in cross-functional discovery discussions and design reviews, contributing to the development of new features and improvements.
- Continuously learn new technologies and systems, and adapt them into accessible user experiences.
- Embrace a problem-solving mindset and be open to constructive feedback and collaboration.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of expertise in designing user experiences and interactions.
- Experience collaborating with product design teams that include multiple designers.
- Proven success in taking products from ideation to market adoption, particularly in consumer products.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI design, visual design, and UX artifacts that demonstrate your expertise in the application of UX methodologies.
- Experience with wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps.
- Familiarity with qualitative research methodologies.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, adaptable to a fully remote environment.
- Low ego, humility, and the ability to understand and respect diverse cultural backgrounds.
- A web3 enthusiast with a solid understanding of web3 technologies and Bitcoin.
Ideally, You’ll Have:
- Prior experience with Bitcoin projects.
- Experience working on web3 or DeFi products.
- A background in fintech or financial technology.
Location:This role is remote-first, with a preference for candidates in Europe & Americas time zones.
