About the Role:
Mosey is looking for its first design hire, offering you the opportunity to shape the future of their platform, internal tools, and design function. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with product, engineering, and business leaders to build and refine the user experience. You will have the unique opportunity to create a design strategy, process, and culture that will last for years to come.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative features that will enhance the product’s user experience.
- Design Specifications & Assets: Deliver all design assets and specifications to engineering for final implementation.
- Design Deliverables: Create wireframes, user stories, user flows, process flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design intent.
- Design System Development: Develop and maintain a consistent design system to ensure a cohesive visual identity across the platform.
- Participation in Team Activities: Actively engage in stand-ups, brainstorming sessions, demos, and design reviews.
- Cultivate Company Culture: Help establish and promote a positive, collaborative, and innovative company culture.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a product design role, ideally at a digital startup.
- Skills: Extensive experience in interaction design, user-centered design, and design principles.
- Autonomy & Collaboration: Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
- End-to-End Design: Strong ability to bring ideas from concept to implementation.
- Iterative Design: Comfort with an iterative design process and the ability to act on feedback.
- Design Tools Proficiency: Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Effective Communication: Confidence in presenting and articulating design decisions to stakeholders.
- Portfolio: A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create user-centered design solutions.
- Curiosity: A passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of design trends.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 (plus equity), depending on experience.
