We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our UX team and help design software for customer support operations. This is an opportunity to create innovative products centered around human work, driven by AI, and help shape workflows for people across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
- Design New Products & Features: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create, refine, and iterate on new products and features that have measurable impacts on the business.
- Mentor Designers: Play an active role in developing the craft of product design at Assembled and strengthening the UX team's culture.
- Understand Users: Lead research to deeply understand users’ needs, frustrations, and satisfactions, and share these insights with the team.
- Steward the Product Experience: Design major user experiences across products, creating intuitive, durable patterns, and maintaining high standards of excellence.
- Improve Visual & Interaction Design: Contribute to the design system and collaborate with others to improve industry standards for workplace software design.
About You
- 5+ Years Experience: Significant B2B software design experience, eager to work in complex domains and distill ideas into useful solutions.
- Zero to One Mindset: Excited to iterate quickly, balancing scope, speed, and quality while bringing new creative ideas to the table.
- Calm Under Pressure: Comfortable guiding teams and projects toward efficient and better outcomes, even when under pressure.
- Comfortable with Ambiguity: Able to get up to speed quickly in active projects, figure out what's needed, and push things forward, even when the path is unclear.
- Hungry & Motivated: Eager to build exciting and meaningful products and determined to create great work.
- Customer-Driven: Passionate about understanding user needs and helping others gain this understanding.
- Detail-Oriented: Skilled in designing complex workflows and interactions, with experience designing with data and data visualization.
- Technically Curious: Able to work closely with engineers to build software and have an understanding of web front-end technologies.
- Comfortable Designing for Systems: Experienced with Figma, building reusable, extensible web components. React experience is a plus.
