Semaphore is Hiring a Part-Time UX/UI Designer (Remote, Flexible Hours)

Semaphore is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our Product team. You'll help design intuitive and beautiful interfaces for a platform trusted by over 50,000 developers worldwide. We’re looking for someone with strong design skills who can also bring designs to life using HTML/CSS, ideally with experience in utility-first frameworks like Tachyons or Tailwind CSS.

Position Details:

  • Type: Part-time
  • Schedule: At least 4 hours of overlap with 9:00–17:00 CET
  • Location: Remote

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design clean, user-friendly interfaces for web applications
  • Build responsive HTML mockups using Tachyons CSS
  • Collaborate with the Product team to improve and refine user experiences
  • Ensure designs perform beautifully across all devices

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio
  • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS, particularly utility-first frameworks
  • Ability to both design and code your solutions
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Bonus Points For:

  • JavaScript skills for creating interactive prototypes
  • Experience with version control tools like Git
