We’re looking for a User Research Manager to lead and drive research initiatives that empower Webflow's decision-making process. You’ll be responsible for understanding the needs of our users, customers, and potential customers and applying those insights to shape new and existing product initiatives.
As part of the Product Pillars team, you'll collaborate with leaders in Product, Design, and Insights to deliver high-quality, actionable insights that inform Webflow’s product strategy. You’ll also lead a team of researchers who use both qualitative and quantitative methods to build a comprehensive understanding of user needs.

What you’ll do:
- Own and lead research projects aligned with company strategy to influence the product roadmap.
- Design and execute research that uncovers user needs, driving key business decisions.
- Review research plans and findings to ensure impactful, easy-to-understand insights that shape the product development process.
- Champion data-driven decision-making alongside the Insights team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Product, Design, Insights, Engineering, GTM) to ensure research shapes the end-to-end customer experience.
- Stay ahead of research trends, especially in web development and AI, ensuring Webflow remains innovative and competitive.
- Advocate for ethical, scalable, and efficient research practices throughout product development.
- Work with Insights leadership to foster an engaging, supportive environment for researchers.
- Help nurture talent, offering both professional growth and technical skill development.
- Support the formation of technical roadmaps that ensure products meet user expectations and serve a diverse global audience.
About You:
You will thrive in this role if you have:
- A robust research portfolio, demonstrating success in managing highly technical product research.
- 2+ years of experience managing junior and senior researchers on complex projects.
- Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders remotely to uncover insights and impact company strategy.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, especially in improving research processes and supporting career growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying research vision and strategy across all organizational levels.
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to craft long-term plans while achieving short-term objectives.
- Expertise in mixed-method research, combining qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights.
- Familiarity with research methodologies like usability studies, contextual inquiries, in-depth interviews, surveys (CSAT, UMUX), and diary studies.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
