Joyteractive is a leading mobile game developer and publisher, specializing in the exciting world of puzzle games. With a team of 80+ talented professionals, we’re looking for a skilled Lead UI/UX Artist Generalist to join our RnD team and help us take our puzzle games to new heights.
What You’ll Be Working On:
- Genres: Puzzle, Casual
- Platforms: Mobile (iOS, Android)
Responsibilities:
- Design & Develop UX/UI: Focus on mobile games (iOS and Android) within the puzzle genre, creating compelling user interfaces.
- Interface Templates: Help create a universal interface template for our projects, including standard screens, design guidelines, and system setup.
- Graphics & Adaptation: Prepare and adapt graphic materials, ensuring they’re optimized for various devices and resolutions.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis, study competitive solutions, and apply best practices in your designs.
- UX Research & Testing: Organize user experience research and testing to optimize user flows and improve conversion rates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product teams and developers at all stages of product creation, contributing to reviews and discussions.
- Design System Maintenance: Maintain and support the design system, document processes, and set interface design standards.
- Team Leadership: Review other designers’ work, provide feedback, and elevate the skill level of the design team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 3+ years as a UI/UX Artist, focusing on mobile games (casual, puzzle, hyper-casual).
- Leadership: Proven experience as a Lead UI/UX Artist or in a similar role.
- Expert Tools: Strong expertise in Photoshop and Unity.
- UX/UI Expertise: Deep understanding of UX/UI principles for mobile platforms, including Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and Material Design.
- Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of key metrics and the ability to apply them to improve UX and boost conversion rates.
- Version Control: Experience working with Git (repository management, branch handling, version control).
- UI Animations: Experience with UI animations and VFX.
- Device Optimization: Knowledge of layout principles and interface adaptation for different devices and resolutions.
- Fast-Paced: Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high-quality execution.
Bonus Points:
- Neural Networks: Experience with tools like MidJourney or Stable Diffusion to speed up visual production.
- Design Tools: Familiarity with Zeplin or Figma.
- Game Design Knowledge: Understanding of game design basics and how to optimize game interfaces.
