Joyteractive, a leading mobile game developer and publisher specializing in puzzle games, is seeking a Lead UI/UX Artist Generalist to strengthen its RnD team. With a track record of success, including the hit game Cryptogram: Word Brain Puzzle, which ranks #3 among iOS/Android word games in the US, Joyteractive is looking for a talented professional to contribute to its growing success in the puzzle game industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • UX/UI Design: Develop and design mobile game interfaces, primarily focusing on the puzzle genre for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Design System: Contribute to the creation of a universal interface template for projects, including standard screens, guidelines, and design systems.
  • Graphic Materials: Prepare and adapt graphic assets, including slicing for various devices and resolutions.
  • Market Analysis: Study competitive solutions, conduct market analysis, and implement best practices to improve the product.
  • UX Research & Testing: Organize UX research and testing, optimize user flows to improve conversion rates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the product team and developers throughout the entire product lifecycle, participating in reviews and discussions.
  • Design Standards: Maintain and support the design system, document processes, and establish interface design standards.
  • Mentorship: Review and provide feedback on the work of other designers to elevate the team's overall skill level.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years as a UI/UX Artist, specifically within mobile games (casual, puzzles, hyper-casual). Proven experience in a lead role is required.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Photoshop and Unity.
    • Deep understanding of UX/UI principles for mobile platforms, as well as knowledge of Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and Material Design.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply key metrics to improve UX and increase conversions.
    • Experience with Git for version control and repository management.
    • Knowledge of UI animations and VFX.
    • Understanding of layout principles and how to adapt interfaces for different devices and resolutions.
  • Attributes: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make independent decisions, and produce high-quality work.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with neural networks (e.g., MidJourney, Stable Diffusion) to accelerate visual production.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Zeplin or Figma.
  • Knowledge of the basics of game design and specifics of game interfaces.
