Varian, a Siemens Healthineers company, is seeking a UX Designer Intern for a 12-month internship in one of the leading healthcare companies in the world. As a part of the team, you will gain valuable experience in user research, UI prototyping, and dashboard design, contributing to the company’s mission of improving cancer care.
Role Overview:
- Research & Analysis: Gather insights from field engineers via interviews or surveys, analyze Splunk dashboard usage, and identify areas for improvement.
- Design & Prototyping: Create UI prototypes using Figma with the corporate component library, ensuring designs are intuitive and user-friendly.
- Iteration & Feedback: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine designs, ensuring alignment with user expectations and business needs.
- Documentation & Presentation: Document your design decisions and present them to the development team and key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Figma (Prototyping, Auto Layout, Components, Variants, etc.).
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
- Experience with user research and a basic knowledge of React and Typescript.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

- Eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the internship.
