Magic Media is seeking a Game UX Designer to adapt and optimize the UX of a PC game for seamless experiences on consoles and mobile platforms. This role involves refining navigation, controls, and usability to ensure smooth transitions across different devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and adapt the UX of an existing PC game for console and mobile.
- Design intuitive UX solutions for controllers and touch interfaces.
- Optimize navigation, menus, HUD, and UI for various platforms.
- Ensure usability, readability, and accessibility across screen sizes.
- Collaborate with UI designers, artists, game designers, and developers.
- Document UX guidelines and best practices for multi-platform designs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in game UX design, particularly cross-platform adaptations.
- Strong understanding of controller ergonomics and mobile touch interactions.
- Expertise in simplifying complex UI flows for different platforms.
- Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD).
- Fluent in English with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Plus:
- Familiarity with game engines (Unity, Unreal) and their UI/UX capabilities.
