A U.S.-based company, Reno, LLC, is looking for a Founding Designer to help shape the company’s design identity and core product experiences from the ground up. This is a part-time, milestone-based role ideal for someone currently employed full-time but open to contributing to a startup in its early stages.
As the sole designer, you'd lead everything from branding to product mockups — with full ownership over design decisions, and direct collaboration with the co-founders.
Responsibilities
You’d be responsible for:
- Designing all key product and brand assets (landing page, dashboards, intake forms, etc.)
- Leading the end-to-end creative process, from concept to delivery
- Aligning designs with business goals and brand strategy
- Participating in product planning, future iterations, and creative direction
- Keeping Reno work clearly separated from any concurrent full-time job (including devices, tools, and time)
Work Style
- You'll work independently and flexibly
- Check-ins are welcome but not required
- Operational context is provided, but you have full creative control
- Final deliverables are reviewed by both co-founders
IP & Agreements
All design contributions are considered work-for-equity, and formal NDAs and IP agreements will be signed to transfer ownership of the work to the company.
