Digital Visual Designer

We are looking for a Digital Visual Designer with experience delivering beautiful, high quality design assets/artifacts in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role will produce various graphic design assets for our division focused on B2B products, including creating new email designs, banners and webpages.

Requirements:

  • Mastery of essential graphic design and UX principles, understanding of how to achieve compositional balance, visual flow, and establish visual and content hierarchy while minimizing visual density and clutter, and achieving a clear result.
  • Proven ability to design digital materials,and other assets in line with published brand/marketing guidance, established principles, and overall best practices.
  • Excellent designer’s eye, tasteful and modern aesthetic; able to master and extend existing style guides and visual systems as needed.
  • Create design assets that meet accessibility standards for contrast, font size, exhibit design decision-making with an inclusive mindset.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a shared editing context, and orchestrating input and reviews to achieve an aligned, clear result that is easily understood and fits into the overall narrative.
  • Comfortable working directly with executives to build out custom graphics that clearly capture key concepts visually.
  • Keen data visualization skills, adept at transforming complex information into clear, easy-to-understand visuals.
  • Deliver email, and other design templates that can be leveraged by non-designers to create professional, well-designed, and dynamic materials that align to established style guides without requiring additional support.
  • Set custom color palettes, chart/graph and other visualization styling, font ramps across common page types, aligned to brand and product styling.
  • Able to work with Sketch, Adobe, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.

A bit about the role:

The design contractor will  (1) build web pages using template guides in our drag-n-drop CMS/webpage builder, (2) create marketing campaign assets that align with our defined design system (e.g. emails, display ads, PDF one-sheets), and (3) ideate and design various visual design elements for use through Marketing channels.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Digital Designer within an agency or global enterprise organization, ideally experience designing for technology clients.
  • Demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions.
  • Strong understanding of web best practices & user experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret wiki data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in a variety of design tools.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $55 to $65 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
