You will be working directly with the CEO to deliver on product objectives!

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for education technology and improving the learning experience for students

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with CEO, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and project requirements.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas and interactions.
  • Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
  • Ensure consistency in design language, branding, and user experience across all platforms and features.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continually improve design processes and output.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure successful implementation of designs, providing support and clarification as needed.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and design critiques to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of design systems, pattern libraries, and documentation.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the design process, championing user-centric design principles and accessibility standards.

Process

  1. Submit an application with your portfolio
  2. After an application screening, a select few will be invited to complete a design challenge
  3. Round 1 Interview — you’ll discuss the design challenge and answer several other questions related to your experiences.
  4. You’ll make revisions to your design challenge based on the Round 1 conversation.
  5. Round 2 interview — you’ll discuss the revisions with the Knowt team!
  6. Decision made!
